Electric fan install?

I just recently got my Evo 9 running with the AEM EMS and was wondering if I need to reinstall the stock fan module from the AEM to controll my Slim electric fan. I currently have it hooked up to the big blue wire and big black wire, but the fan is continously on.

Any help with be appreciated, thanks

Cut the stock fan connector and wire it into the new fan. just match the colors up. Then just plug it into your fan controller and bam there you go.

In AEMPro, go to Setup->Advanced Setup->User Defined PW Output->"T" User Defined Pulse Width Output.

It wasn't obvious at first, but that is how the AEM is actually controlling the radiator fan. (The condenser fan in run from LS5 in a more standard way).

Anway, the fan control module is getting sent a PWM signal from this output (mapped to LS9 and keyed off of coolant sensor voltage). You can adjust the on/off point in this map. Pull up the coolant sensor cal table if you want to know what voltages corresponds to what temp.
