ams intake mani, 35 r, supporting mods.


will i benefit from aem ems 2 K$ ? Or Stay with the Stock ECU?

you cant stay with the stock ecu. you have to buy an ems... best bet, find one used if you have to... make sure you get all of the sensors that the ems needs. ait sensor and a bar sensor... depending on boost you will choose from 3.5 or 5 bar

also make sure that your UICP has a bung for your AIT sensor

that it comes with the sensors already... the speed density is like an intake snorkel with no maf on it... just a pipe and intake

id say cleanliness appearance, make sure the unit dont look alll beat up... also make sure the sensors are still in tact...

soo if i bought a used aem ems... what else do i need to BUY to run speed density?

I just delivered a car to a customer with 540 whp on a Gt35 on pump and alcjy with the stock ecu.

While an AEM certainly has the edge on the stock ecu for ultimate performance capability as you can eliminate the MAF and have more control over the knock reaction the stock ecu certainly run very well with the mods that you have.

One important point - when it comes to the AEM who you have tune it and how they tune it is critical.

no.

stock ecu here. 523 whp @ 30 psi

im sticking with the stock ecu for as long as i can. once i get my built BR shorty and head im still going to stick with the stock ecu and see how things go
