Is it possible to set the CEL as a shift light with the AEM EMS?

 

It should be. Just configure your outputs to turn on the pin going to your CEL. You have a IX so you'll have to check your aem documentation. On the VIII, the CEL is Low side #10, pin 36. You should be able to configure the custom outputs to trigger that pin when you reach a certain RPM. Good Luck.
