i know the aem has an output for shift light many have used it to turn the cel lite on but its too small..what would it take to connect an autometer or other brand shift light up to the aem to control an external shift light..should be as simple as connecting the output wire from the aem to the light then power and ground..has anyone done this

 

If the light you are looking at has an activation wire so to speak yes it would be that simple you are correct. You could also use any other avalible pin along with Switch #7 that way you can still use you SES for somthing different. Either way you are on the right track.
