Fuel Map Question?
I am curious why in my fuel map I have to set my afr's so low in the lower boost range than up top.
For example from -14vac to 8psi I have to keep the afr's between 2.25 - 5.00 at most or it will start going lean on my actual wideband. Is there a setting or setting to adjust this. Even at idle my afr's are nearly zerod out
In the upper boost range it seems the afr's or target numbers are close to the actually air fuel output (wideband).

Do you think that the value in the grid is the desired AFR?
If so, then you are wrong. You are looking at your map in injector pulse width, not AFR. On the AEM EMS, when you are working with the FUEL MAP there is no way to see it based on desired AFR, only RAW, PULSE WIDTH, and DUTY CYCLE.
I would recommend that you go to www.aempower.com and check out the forums. Also RTFM.
Also read all of this:

I use the raw view as well.
You can use the auto mapping for target AFRs.
No offense, but you should really get familiar with the AEM PRO USERS GUIDE.
It is located on your tuning computer here: 'C:\Program Files\AEM\AEMPro\Instructions\AEMPro User Guide V2.0.pdf'
It will answer almost all of your questions.

it doesnt look like you should be doing your own tuning. first read read read. do a log look at your afrs in aem log and itll tell you what your running at then you can add or take away fuel as you go. or you can hire someone to tune your car and have them teach you the basics.
