All gauges off on factory cluster

I'm working on a friends car and it didn't take long to notice everything was really off on the factory cluster.

Everything but speed is affected.

Rpm's are off by about 400
Coolant is off significantly
Fuel gauge is way off (empty is half a tank)

I have heard of the fuel gauge being a little off before but never everything this far off.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this happen or knows what we can do to fix it.

Thanks,
Will

Maybe you should tell your friend to take his Evo to a AEM Certified shop and they can sort out the issues for him.

Nice Sig BTW... Too bad you have no clue what you are talking about which is usually par for about 99% of your posts on every forum your on.

Your too funny lucas. AEM certified only means you went to the class and they taught you how to work the software and set it up. Woopie doo.

At least I don't claim to be an AEM expert.

I'm not the one who runs a 12.5 in a 80k evo.

Is this S1 or S2? I have read S2 boxes are off on actual coolant temp.

As for the gas gauge-
If you pull pin #74 from ecu harness the gas gauge will act normal again. The fuel level signal goes to both the dash and to the EMS at pin 74. That input on the EMS is setup for an EGT input so the pullup resistor inside (Pulled up to 5V) may cause an offset on what the gauage says. If you leave it in, you can monitor the fuel level by looking at the EGT#1 input voltage. I did this mod myself and my gas gauge works great now.
