AEM EMS 2 on my Lan Evo 6
AEM EMS 2 on my Lan Evo 6
Hello I'm Janjan from Philippines i need some advise.. I'm planning to buy a standalone AEM EMS 2 or Haltech platinum 1000.. I need to know who is the best? what are the advantages and disadvantages of both product... If i buy AEM EMS i should buy a additional harness or i could use the stock harness of my evo.. AEM EMS for EVO VIII could be used on my evo 6??? thank you i hope you can answer my question and i need some suggestion...

You would need to check the evo 6 pinout against the evo 8 ecu pinout. If they are the same plug then you could just move wires around in order to make it plug and play.
As far as what ECU is better, I would see what your local tuner prefers to tune one and buy that.
I like the AEM, I have a Series 1 in the evo, and a Series 2 in the STI. So I think they are great ECU's.
