Found the EMS to have a burned coms circuit. Fixed coms circuit and fully tested the EMS. Found the EMS to be fully functional. All inj, coils, sensors, RPM readings, coms, IDLE circuit, UEGO circuit and stat sync are fully functional. Could not save customers cal. loaded base cal. Will ship unit 2 day express.

I had 3 maps and a working map to test things out.
The first map is from Utah with high elevation
The second two are AZ with normal elevation
The last one is a map I used to test different things out on.
The reason to check all 5v items is because the Serial Comms run on the same 5v supply. If there is an error in the 5v then you will not be able to connect, I don't care how hard you try.
This is also a super simple thing to check. You just unhook everything and see if you can connect.

I know the basics of 5V sensors. I just figured with the cut harness he might be missing one.
I am in the process of stripping my harness as we speak, and I had comms issues also, I had just unhook all 5v sensors and was able to connect. This has happened to me a few times. Most of the time it is my TPS out of range, reading below 0.00%. This happens when I remove the TPS sensor and just guess when I put it back on.
But it looks like it was a legit board issues, and AEM got it all sorted out.
