Amazing but I got to be honest, a 2.3 with a RED would have a lot more Torque than 405 no?

I thought the same thing but the Porsche trans is geared different.... Im going to swap out th S2 cams and 65mm buschur throttle body and see what happens. I also have my dump feeding back into the O2 housing..

Is it just easier and cheaper to mod a 4G than the motor that came in the car originally? I don't know much about Porsche's of that vintage.

I love this combo. It's a great idea. Is there much of weight difference between the new motor and the old? I totally get what you mean about the gearing too. I can imagine there will be a couple drive-train challenges. Are you still on the original Porsche gearbox?

Oh it's a hell of a lot cheeper to do this swap then buy a good used Porsche 911 motor. For 1987 Porsche 911 only had like 200 hp to the crank lol. They are just super light cars, to get 475 Hp from and old Porsche 911 motor would cost about $50,000.

This is the stock gear box, Porsche made the G50 trans bullet proof it is a 5 speed. It has really good top end with the gearing.
