Problem with tune or something

So, I recently did an engine swap. I had gotten my car tuned by AMS and it was working great. I had it tuned with all the basic bolt ons and hks cams 264/278 and I had to take them out.
So, I drive around and my car seems to surge. I look at the aem air/fuel ratio gauge and it goes to 15 to 16 in the red range when it surges. It feels like it want to die out and has a few times. The only thing I can think of is that the car does it because the cams are no longer in and I have stock internals.

Has anyone had an issue like the one I am describing.?

yeah, people who drive their untuned cars have issues.

if you swapped cams, thats a big deal, especially for drivability.

so..... what cams are in there now? if it is not the same ones, you will need a tune. different spec cams will throw your afr's out of whack.

I found out what the issue was. I had very loose wiring that was connecting my AEM EMS. Now that was fixed my next problem is that my car red lines at 5500rpm for every shift. I dont know if its do to having my car tuned with all bolt ons and now that i have stock cams i can assume that is the issue or a cam sensor problem

You should post a log.

RPM
Boost
Ign Timing
AFR
Stat Sync
Timing Errors -- I don't remember the exact name

After all that, it could be a bad cam sensor. Mine failed at 130k on the clock.
