Question Help with cold start issue AEMv1

I've been very satisfied with my starting tune and drivebability (sp?) but in recent cold weather nights/morning around 34F to 45F I've been having starting issues. Can anyone guide me into what table should I be looking too? Are there multiple tables that I need to adjust? Add more fuel, timing? Im on 93oct and using PTEs 1200cc injectors.

Thanks,
Vic

Mine always takes a few cranks to start but then when it is started I have to feather the throttle for a bit to keep running until it can take over by itself. I started to figure my start issue by holding the throttle at different positions. Correct me if I'm wrong but the more throttle input the less fuel you need in crank start and initial crank. I know my warm up tables are out of wack but that's where I started. Had it dialed in pretty good up until the snow fell and Temps dropped. Now I'm back to square one. The aem ems v1 also takes forever to start itself. It has to line the crank and cam sensors before fuel or ignition will start. You can always hook up and look for Stat Sync to see how long it turns on while cranking.

Yes I know about the long sync... mine starts pretty efficiently in tempos ape 50F, but when in the 30sF is horrible!

initial crank pulse would be your target. the colder the more pulse needed since all gas now has 10% ethanol in it.

This isn't for Series 1...but the concepts are the same. It will give you a good idea of how everything correlates.
