Base map boost control?
I am gathering lots of info, and supporting mods to get ready for the EMS. One thing is that this is supposed to be plug and play to get me going.
I noticed in the maps that come with the software download (1313 MAF and 1313 MAP) that the boost control is NOT turned on. Am I looking at the wrong base maps? How is boost control handled for an out of the box EMS?
FYI my car is and will be bone stock when I put in the EMS, so I can spend about 6 months or so becoming an expert before trying any power mods.
Also I do understand how to set up boost control (I understand PID, or rather PI in this case), and will probably re-do it with a GM solenoid, but I am concerned about the plug and play out of the box aspect.

Your right the boost control is not turned on with the start up calibrations. Both Map and Maf start up calibrations are intended to only get the car started. You must set up the boost control yourself as well as fuel and ignition for each car individually. Pm me if you would like a base map settings for the GM boost solenoid (which is the one I recommend to use with the EMS)
My problem is knowing what wire is what on the pig tails for the IAT sensor and the Boost solenoid? There are 2 wires on the pigtail but you dont know which one is 5 volt or ground depending on sensor and what one is the sending wire? Please help!
