Question Cc Sedan Glxi To 4x4 4g63 Conversion

G'day guys,

I have a cc sedan glxi sedan at present and it's had a paintjob and evo 3 kits recently. But i wanna know if it's possible to convert the standard 4g93 cc sedan into a 4g63t 4x4??? without much mucking around. Or.... would it be cheaper to sell my much loved Lancer and purchase a GSR and then do the 4g63 conversion?

Any feedback would be much appreciated..

Thanx

Sir lanca-lot

It's expensivfe.. but can be done.. Speedworks ( or was it X-speed ?) overe here in WA created an evo from a GLXI.. did the whole engine, drivetrain and tranny crossover.. it has ONALL4Z on the plates, and did something like 591 at all 4 wheels..

Hey,

Guess what, im doing the conversion its a lancer GL carbi 4g15 to evo 3 4x4 4g63T.

I got all the parts since i got the evo 3 front and rear cut. Its taken a while to clean and replace things, but that because i can only work on it on the weekends.

The hardest part is to actually get the rear diff in, im still in the process Its one heavy beast of a diff. You need to cut a chunk out of the back frame and replace it with the one fro m the cut. Not easy and its gotta be spot on.

Im sure hoping it will be worth the wait and hard work though hehehe

Cheers
