Stroker kits???

Please tell me what you know about any stroker kit. I have heard of a stroker kit for the CE Lancer which apparently makes it 2.6L now I am not sure if this guy was talking rubbish, but I though it is worth looking into.

i think i read jun or someone like that produced a stroker kit to make it 2.2 .. kinda like an sr20 kit.. but it might notta been jun..

maybe RPW has done some research on it ?

not too sure, but not as big as 2.6.. i don't think the bores and stuff would go that far.. i mean thats another 0.8 from a 1.8 litre..

thats ****loads in a lil engine

Yeah it is a lot, yes I have head about the 2.2L stroker for the Evolution engines, just would be nice to have one for the 4G93 1.8L engine, so I am wondering if it is available.

it'd also be nice to have a stroker kit for the US lancer too ... we love bigger stuff over here.

Ever used a Pajero's turbo charge bottom block and match with a EVO or a VR4 head?...Unsure of exact CC but it does pump out massive cubics.

That is something I have never even come across before, not sure if it would work though. Are you saying that you have seen it, and if so, are there any pictures that we could possibly see?

The 1.8 engines can be stroked and bore to 1.95 litre. The 2.0 engines we can bore and stroke to 2.15 litres. Sorry that is the best we can do on the 4G9 engines.

Thanks Mitsiman, that seems realistic, what do you think the power gain would be from completing this procedure (I know this will vary due to amout of mods, but I would like to know and approximate figure). Also what would be the approximate cost, if you dont feel comfortable posting it on the forum, email me graemekhughes@hotmail.com

Thanks
