engine conversion

hey,
has any1 done an engine conversion to a lancer CC 1.5L carbi?
I have 2 engines in mind:
1) 4g93T
2) 4g63T

Any pointers as to what engine? Also how complex is the swap, whats involed, what modifications need to be done etc...

Thankyou for any advice

Because in Australia, we have more sources for a/m parts and tuning then in the USA, as we have a more direct link to the Japanese Parts bin..

And also, a lot of the fast Lancers in Australia aren't even Evos.. My friend had a GSR Lancer that he's selling that does 11.7 second 1/4 mile and can outhandle a Evo.. and it isnt an Evo.. and hes selling it for 21 grand.. and the Evo 7 ( and even the 8 ) are going for around upwards of 60-70 grand.. what would you rather ?

Back on Topic...

Vespa i believe has done the 4G93 Transplant into his, as has Mr Huxtable, and he is pushing out a considerable amount of KWs at the wheels.. I'll make sure thats correct, he has the Green CC..

He has posted some info in the " What have you got Thread "

If you buy the frontcut for 4-5 grand and then fitted it yourself, it'll only come in around 6-7 grand

i have done the conversion to my car but i do not advise it as for a 1.5carby to be swaped its alot more work. i had a 1.8. you are better off saving and buying somthing els. performance is not that great coz of traction

Hehe, now im even more confused if i should attempt this conversion, im getting responses yes! do it and no dont waste money.

I found a 4g93T half cut for 3000 bucks so what would i have to change with the fuel delivery from my carbi tank? I was also thinkin of doing the swap myself to save myself some cash.

yes it is good... but street drag and drag strip draggin is a lot different...
they had to use 22" slicks on the front for traction just remember...
