Anyone here with the new 2.0l Lancer vrx?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else around here has the new lancer vrx(cg)

And wondering what they think of it?

People have been complaining about the speed of this thing but I really don't have any complaints.. Just wondering How it compares in power to the later model? thanks ....... Cool forum too!!!

cool!!

Yeah I like the LS too!! I mean they have the same engine anyway.

Have you done any mods to it?

Do you know anything about the comparisons to the other models? I mean compared to the gli or something like that . It's like $10K more than those models but what are the major differences to nessesitate the cost? I mean it is 2.0l but is it any more powerful? I don't really understand.

Anyway thanks ... Nice to know there are a couple others with the lancer cg down here

erm a 2.0l on a lancer? tht's powerful for a small car.... 2l engines usually go into big cars like e merc-E-class or bimmer-5-series....or e accord...so i supppose a 2.0 in a lancer would reallli make this little thing fast!

Yeah Cars in Australia are $$$. My lancer cost $31K with Alarm, Sunroof and ABS.

That was a pretty good price for me. I had the choice of this lancer or the Imprezza RXSubaru ( The base model) which was basic ( without my extras ) for $33k Although the Imprezza had AWD and full Disk brakes. I mainly went Lancer cos I thought it looked cool.

The lancer I got basically looks like the3 OZ but has no back bumper or front bumper and also has a black grill.

I will post pics soon but here is the info and a pic of it on the Aust website

I recently went for a test drive in a VRX 2.0L with my friend who was interested in buying one. I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the performance of the engine. It does however show potential when it is modified. We will have to wait and see what people do to these.

Any chance you could get those of us in the US parts numbers from your dealerships on the front and rear bumpers if you ever have to talk to service?

if anyone of you ever get a body kit, i'd be glad to take if off your hands
