*GT35 turbo
*22psi of boost

and all other supporting mods needed

How much AWHP (roughly) is expected with these mods and a rough 1/4 time? thanks

Why would anyone run a GT35 only to use 22psi of boost.?

Yeah.. up the boost. It should be good for low 11 to high 10sec.

but currently with 22psi, what is it at? What boost would it need for high 10s, low 11s? Whats the GT35 capable of anyways? Oh... and do you where the AWHP would fall on 22psi?

*GT35 turbo
*22psi of boost - you'll be running more than that
*Headers - there's only 1 header
*cams - 272's
*Exhaust - full 3" turbo back
*CAI - not needed, just use an open-element
*Stage III Clutch - don't go by stage, just get a double or triple exedy
*NO CATS - there's only 1 cat, replace it with a test pipe

You'll be running low 11's

If your only going to run 22psi with a 35R you would be better off sticking with the stock turbo IMO and spend the money on a stand alone. You reliable see 375awhp out of the stocker with great torque to boot.

If I had to guess I would say 350awhp.

If you're going to limit yourself to pump-gas levels of boost, then you're probably going to see a mid to high 11 sec 1/4 mile and roughly 400whp (maybe a little more, but not much). Once you throw racegas or alky into the mix and turn up the boost, you'll see low 11's/high 10s (depending on how good you can drive)

A GT35R can handle boost upwards of 35psi or so, with race gas on stock block (not bored out) you'll be making around 540 whp. With pump gas, probably around 450 whp. This is with 35 pounds of boost. when you lower it to 22 psi (only 2 pounds more than stock) you wont be making much power off the bigger turbo but rather more off the cams, headers, exhausts ect. (all the naturally aspirated items which can only go so far). Stock turbo can handle 22 psi so stick with stock if youre only looking for boost in the low 20s. Its a waste of money for a bigger turbo when all the power is coming off of naturally aspirated items like i have listed above. You will probably get somewhere around 315-345 awhp with 22 psi setup on pump gas. But AMS GT35R kit is incredible for evos because of the power gains (35psi boost setup) and reliability.

Not true, AMS has dyno charts showing their GT35R kit in the low 400s on pump gas (93 octane), running somewhere around 22 psi boost. Of course you will get similar results with a gt3071 or gt3076. At 22 psi, a gt35r is definitely not the best choice, because of its late spoolup.
