AMS LICP is sweet!

Just wanted to let you guys know that your LICP is amazing. One of my favorite mods to date. The car feels alot better with the pipe now, spool up is quicker and the car just seems more responsive. Install was easy, 2 hrs and 15 mins to remove the bumper and undertray and put it all back together. Definately a must have mod in my book! Nice job AMS!

Not to get off topic but someone complained that buschur's LICP didn't have the nipple for the MBC but that is on the other side of the engine, I am really confused now. sorry. I mean here's what Buschur calls there LICP and it looks totally different than AMS!

LICP for an MBC...dude what are you reading ? How did you get to the point where you think your MBC hooks up to your LICP. Don't you mean the nipple on your Turbine ? Cause the only other places i've heard of people hooking up their MBC is the Intake manifold and the BOV.

read that thread, I didn't think it made sense either, I dont know what's going on.. I got people telling me to tap the MBC into the BOV and others telling me to use the compressor housing, which I have done. Now i have people telling me to hook it up the LICP and No one ever makes sense on this damn place...

From what I can tell, there should be no nipples at all on the LICP. Maybe on the upper IC pipe for the BOV, which is kind of big for a nipple but whatever you want to call it. I tapped my BOV vacuum line for my electronic boost controller.

when you get the deluxe fmic kit it, the lower licp does not have a nipple on it...

The one pictured above it just a oem replacement for the restrictive stock piece...it will retain the actual turbo outlet pipe which is where the nipple is..

The nipple is not on the lower intercooler pipe.

The nipple for the boost source is on the turbo outlet pipe...which is bolted to the o2 housing..

Don't you mean "which is bolted to the compressor outlet?"
