change to evo IX map sensor ?

If anyone from AMS would be able to confirm this or give some insight as to what changed on the IX map sensor that would allow someone to run a VTA bov, would be good for general knowledge. im not saying Im going to run a VTA bov but it would be nice to know what changed from the VIII's that allows us to do this.

this is the thread that I saw someone referencing the change.

true, the loss of air wreaks havoc on the MAF system, was just curious to see if maybe they made some change that would allow a VTA bov. i have no plans of running VTA but it was more a curiousity question
