AMS,

With the advancement in ECU tuning Technology is it possible to get JUN cams to idle properly with the right tuning?

With jun 264s there shouldn't be a problem as they stated that on their site. As for the 272s there will be a hard time getting them to idle. However, I have heard of one tuner that was able to get the 272s to idle on stock ecu.

I contacted JUN about a month, month and a half ago about them. They are still "under development" and have no release date to speak of.

It will be about 3 weeks before I get some more in. There is no set release date for IX cams.

Here you go:

Dear Eric,

Thank you for your inquiry.
At length we start to make prototype for Evo9 cam. We will spend this year on the test of prototype. I think that we will be able to manufacture the cam as regular product from February.

Hey man, you guys never answered my question about the Jun cams (or perhaps other options) for my car. Given the build on my car and a pump gas tune, do you think the Jun 272's would offer a significant improvement over the HKS 280s? (i.e. lowend, spoolup, topend)
