taking my evo to track this friday
With 480whp it should be running low 122's to 125mph in a decent weight evo. Bogging at the launch and how fast you shift will make a difference on trap speeds.
Yours is a 6 speed right? What rpm where you shifting at and what gear did you cross the line at?
Keep it up, it takes some practice but you'll keep getting faster and faster the more you go.

why the hell would you make that comment? Are you kidding me? The guy took his car to the track and posted his times. Everyone else in here has good comments and your the only one to say something stupid like that!
You knew before you clicked on this thread that it was going to be about his times?!
Some people enjoy the strip while others like auto x.
each to his own i guess
Good LUck with the car, keep us posted on times

Yes, its a 6 speed, i was shifting at 7,500 with the 264/272 cams in there now and i was shifting into 5th just crossing the line.
And the track prep was terrible.

.You should have Martin set the rev limit to 8.7k,so you could cross the line at 4th gear
.But,pratice is most important now!!Try hard to cut a 1.6 60' and shift in .2 sec.

well i figured out why i wasnt running what it should have. One of the lines on the methanol was jiggling and i pushed that down but that didnt do anything and then i hit the test button on the controller and went and tested it and whala the green light came on and pulled alot harder than it was last night. So hopefully next tuesday i can get my low 11 120+ time slip.
