Just a recommendation for you guys, when you install your 50trim, take the compressor cover off and run a bead of Copper Sealant around the edge. When I was leak checking my system I was getting bubbles all around the compressor housing. After the sealant it was GTG.

Got the 50 trim kit and the lower intercooler pipe does not line up right to the intercooler. And I did not get any cupplers for the Ams intercooler that I purchased? Any comments?

You use the stock couplers for the licp to IC with our Kit.

that or you will have to buy some 2.5" 45 Deg Couplers.

Well I get my AMS 50 Trim on Monday, 12 Mar...hopefully everything goes smoothly...I like to thank Santiago@AMS for going above an beyond on customer service and technical support, honesty goes a long ways.

Here I have the tie bar in the vice with the mark just slightly above the jaws. It takes some effort but give it a good yank and it will bend.



Here I have the tie bar in the vice near the center tab. I am bending it in the opposit direction as the first bend to get it to bolt in place.



In this picture you can see the slight bend in both the lower tie bars allowing them to clear the down pipe. There is a good half inch of clearance.



I hope this helps.
or you can add a couple of washers on each side
