Flashed for 93; will be running 91 @ track

I've been dyno tuned by AMS for 93 octane. I'll be doing a track weekend in an area that only offers 91 octane.

My current plan is to purchase some 100/104 unleaded (whatever they sell) and balance out the 91 octane in order to preserve my timing for the tune. I usually turn down the boost on my mbc a few pounds as well for safety reasons because of the longer sustained rigers of a road-race course.

Any idea how much higher octane I should mix with the 91 to be safe? It's just a DE, so not like I'm trying to maximize the car to any limits. My first priority is to get myself and the car home safely!

Also, Chris told me to verify my peak boost in 3rd gear. However sometimes I see higher boost in 4th or 5th and wondered if I should worry about that or just 3rd? I usually keep an eye on the boost down the straights of course.

THanks.

I would put at least 3-5 gallons of 100 plus in the tank and knock you boost down a couple of pounds. with that you should be fine

About what I figured; thanks. Tune and care have been great this year with no issues (other than a T-clamp coming lose; retightened!). Appreciate it!

Any other recommendations for staying safe, pass them along.

^ just the usual HPDE stuff ... bleed the brakes - if you haven't already, also switch to better brake fluid, hopefully you've had a recent oil change ... etc. There are a couple of HPDE checklists floating around on the forums...

Eric's advice is good, although personally I don't monkey with the boost, I just make sure to go at least 50/50 racegas/pumpgas at the track.

Yep, thanks.
I've got all the usual's covered, just the first time I haven't had ready access to 93! I blended in plenty of 100 at the track. Had zero issues!
There was self-service 100 octane @ HPT for those that didn't know. They also have 110 and 112 leaded.

That's the nice part with the Forge UNOS, two clicks too the left, two clicks back too the right.

I see similar results with my car. About 21 psi in 3rd and about 22 in 4th and 5th. Is this typical? Should I dial it back 1 psi?

Thanks!
