I have a standard 35r and see 24psi at 4500 in second gear. Your twin scroll isn't much better if at all.

also this test dose not say it used a twinscroll manifold. twin waste gates. so this test really means nothing in a real twin scroll vs reg setup.

changing just the hotsides was only a waste of the guy who did the swaps time. come on ams you should know better then that.

Tim's Evolander has a properly designed twin scroll manifold with two wastegates on it. Look at the vacuum lines and you can see the T's in them for the two WGs.

Just getting rid of the restrictive divided housing gained power up top and spooled almost the same.

Think about this for a second. You can only push so much exhaust through an open T3 flange before it starts becoming a restriction. Now see how much exhaust you can push through a divided T3 flange.

When you are shooting for HP, the twin scroll has the disadvantage.

I'm still curious about turbo response time...you don't use a twinscroll to drag race, you use it for the track...

Single Vs. Twin 35R

Thanks again for the test.

Please post some pics of the Twin Scroll maniold used.

Also what kinda difference would a .85 A/R have with a .68A/R?

I would also like to hear how Full Race feels about this.

Im pretty sure we spool just about the same or a little sooner on our open scroll 30R kits on a 2.0 in 4th gear.
