AMS - how long is this piece from the flange to the turndown?

Any way a race muffler can be added to it to ditch the rest of the exhaust?

Thanks!

Quick ?..............I have a AMS TBE with test pipe. Is it possible to take the test pipe out, put this in, and run it for a short period? While still having a properly supported exhaust? Not running it full time, just some neighbors I'd love to wake up when I go to work at 3am

the mid pipe would not be secured, and would drag on the ground

Beside weight reduction...what are other benefit of using it?

Will I get knock hitting the 2 step with it?

Will I gain HP/Torque?

Do I need a reflash when installing this?

?

You should not get any changes in knock with this, it will be loud but its pretty far away from the knock sensor.

A little gain in HP/Torque is possible and more then likely, its the same idea as upgrading to a 3" exhaust from your stock exhaust, just one step further, it allows for less back pressure in the exhaust system. One thing you will notice is your turbo will spool quicker.

As for the reflash I dont think you would need it but I would wait for one of the tuners to chime in about that as im not positive either way.

The piece is only in total about 10-12" long. Im sure it would be possible but there would also have to be extra support added, and the turn down would have to be chopped off and relocated after the muffler. Its possible but it would kind of defeat the purpose.
