We take it out of its shoe box every once in a while and dust it off. We roll it around the shop and make zoom zoom noises taking turns in the drivers seat. We put it on the dyno every once in a while and test different mods. We did some cam testing and some turbo testing on the car. The Castrol Top Shop motor was tested in the Drag Car chassis. Its just too easy to work on with all the room we freed up in the engine bay. I believe it it currently slated to test our CNC head at super high boost levels.

We keep talking about getting it to the track but we have been sooooooooooooo busy with shop work and the recent competitions we have been in and are soon going to. I for one would sure like to see the results of the aero work we did on the car probably a year ago... lol.

I am pretty confident we will get it out to the track before the season is over.

As Ivan stated we had a TON of plans for the car this year but between mother nature and the SLEW of projects we had here at the shop we just have not had time. If things go to plan we will get the car to the track VERY soon. We have a tentative date but I don't want to jinx it in case something else pops up.

Top shop really hurt out timetable. The drag car chassis needed to be used to develop the top shop motor and that put her out of commission for about four weeks.

It really seems that AMS is involved in EVERYTHING. There isn't enough time in the day for all the stuff they do. Especially when you have employees like Eric who goes through more cars than I do pairs of boxer shorts, they have to keep playing with and learning every new car
Just had to say that bc I saw you switched cars again Eric

hahah yeah my new car is also the newest car we are going to be making parts for LOL. To say we have our hands full is most certainly an understatement.

You know what they say though. You are either moving forward or falling behind...especially in this economy.
