Question Want to avoid dp rattle

Im installing the ams tbe this weekend and was wondering if anyone ever took count of how many washers it took to correctly space down your tie bars so the downpipe wont rub or rattle. Its a good drive to the nearest hardware store so can you guys give me a ballpark estimate? Also, you guys dont sell those ams banners like you have hanging in your dyno? I'd love to have one for my garage!

The tie bar spacing differs from car to car but I would say that each side will need to be spaced about 1/2 an inch down. Unfortunately we don't have any of those banners here for sale but we do have a bunch of stickers for sale on the website here:

You might want to consider the Kartboy exhaust poly hangers also if the washers aren't enough. They do have an Evo kit to replace all your oem hangers. They don't sag as much as the rubber oem hangers and keep the entire exhaust from moving around as much. I've been real happy with them.

Thanks for the info. Just didn't want to make repeat trips to Ace hardware! You guys should stock those banners! Perfect addition to the man cave!

One more question. Do you guys use anti seize on your bolts? I searched and found some people were stripping the nuts due to that.
