evo's 4 sale in Canada?
so i've noticed alot of ppl in Canada do own evo's w/ Canadian plates....do n e of you guys know if there are any for sale!?!
Dude...I don't know WHERE you are but I think you a) are confused w/ what an evo looks like or b) are confused w/ what a canadian plate looks like. hehe
There may be one or two w/ plates. But its very costly to import one. You would need to prove to the ministry of transportation that the car is safe (as it doesn't meet or stringent crash test ratings here) so you would have to have that reinforced and then a few other licensing things....

I bought mine in October 2003 and by that point the laws have already changed. It's true that a few cars sneaked into the country before then, but the number is very limited. In Toronto, I believe the only "local" Evo is owned by Johnson at Ultimate Racing. But the car is still registed in California.
I can think of 3 In ontario that drive legally on the streets (I use the trerm legally loosly)
1. The guy from Lancernation who has the Blue and White Dealer Plates
2. Burlington Mitsubishi Has(d) one that they would slap dealer plates on every so often
3. Mitsubishi Canada has one that they use for shows and stuff. They are allowed to put dealer plates on it and are allowed to drive it on a limited basis.
