Everyone elses results is really up to them to post, our dyno day cars from Mitsu could not be made availible in away that wouldnt comprimise the results. For example, we had an EVO X that just couldnt get it together, not by fault of Mitsubishi but because of the fuel that evaluators from the media put in them. Hense why it would not be fair to compare results if the car is posting all over the place. You should have seen the blue and black smoke the Red evo was putting out. Thank god Ted was there with his evo, posted some strong numbers
I will be posting my EVOSOUL car dyno results. Its based on the CVT transmission, and all the CVT cars we dynoed producted stable but lowered results. Why there are two theories out there. 1) there is additional drive train loss as power makes its way from the engine to the wheels, or 2) which is the more logical theory, the results may post lower then expected due to the CVT transmissions performance on a DYNO machine. Since I have dragged in testing Vs. 5Manual using other stock cars, it didnt seem like the CVT was any slower or faster then the Manual. So I am assuming that it is a DYNO reading.
In any event, what was important was that the readings were consistant and repeatable. I ended up running my evosoul car about 40 runs testing various add-ons, each performed in a reliable manner. So what is important is the ability to see performance changes with the change in hardware. I was very shocked when reviewing the performance of the SRI. But I will comment on that later on when I have more conclusive results on the dyno.
Cheers
