I have no idea if I'm reading the info right but to me it looks like they're still black listed. It doesn't appear to be a retroactive law but rather only applicable to cars made from 2007 onwards which certainly makes the new evo applicable but not the older models.

Previous evos (8, 9) are now admissible, along with the Toyota MR-S.

Im still sad that the elises are not

inadmissable coloumn is empty, and EIS states that cars after 2007 must have an immobilizer

Ah k, I was reading that as meaning that Galants and Eclipses from 1993-2008 were fine but for other cars 2007 was the limit.

since the bumper laws are harmonized with th US does that open international trade as well? Specifically from Japan... if so, . It would make sense if the only thing that wasn't at par with Canada was the bumper

haha ya but its going to take law suits to get the Canadian arm of the auto companies to honour warranty service.

currently they are dragging their feet.

No warranty coverage on any Mitsubishi cars, but if the saving are enough to off set the warranty issues it might not be a bad option.

You will have warranty coverage it just won't be through Mitsubishi Canada.
