dont be spreading word around too quickly, the RIV list has to be updated and it still dosent mean that all cars will make it on the admisable side, we have to wait aprox 10 days to see the results. But it would be nice.

Is there a tiny glimmer of hope of being able to import the evo x to Canada from the US?

well the only reason, according to RIV, that american Evo's are not allowed to be imported is due to the bumper law that they just ammended. If there still inadmissable then it would be because said no.

I am going to go out on a limb here, feel free to retract that statement at anytime.

But I am not sporting a evo 10 rear bumper, my bumper is a fiberglass aftermarket rear end that has no diffuser. I have been very vocal about the rear end of the Canadian EVO 10. If this gets some legs, I would see Mitsubishi phasing out the EVO X Canadian bumper hopefully for next year or the year after.

I hope so,

Cheers

question: anyone know the reason behind lotus elises not being admissible for import to canada? is it due to the bumper requirements or another reason?

some used 06 elises are going for low 30's with about 5000 miles
