I was talking to ACP (Andrew Comrie-Picard) the other night on FaceBook and he suggested umm somethin Falken? Tires for our cars.

Yeah the OP doesn't like the RT615's though as they are only 200 treadweared.

He's looking for something more durable and long lifed.



Mind you the Falken ST115 or the FK452 might fit the bill. Falkens used to be very competitively priced but now, their prices have escalated to industry tire levels.

I have the FK-452s and as a street tire they're fine but if you want to track them, you need something else.

The OP does not track his car.

Heck I'd even so far to say that Falken top of the line RT615's are not track worthy. They get greasy like heck after beating them for 5-7 minutes straight.

The RT-615s are meant for the track but yes like you said, they get greasy fast, especially on a heavy car like the Evo, Ralliart or WRX. For a street tire, the FK-452s are more than adequate.
