the stock IX pump is a tad better than the VIII, bunch of people on here run full bolt-on plus cams and still dont max out their IDC.

but yes i totally agree with you about the pumps going in as an insurance mod for your future mods.

i dont think i can get it in and installed in time for my short time frame of being home.

 

Hope you guys don't mind me bumping this thread again. Anyways, my name is Brendan and I'm looking at getting into an Evo IX MR. Some of you may know me from ricescene or other forums I'm on, I'm the kid that does detailing. So yeah, I'm looking at getting into an Evo IX MR pretty soon. Hope to see you guys around. BTW, anybody willing to give me a ride in their IX MR? I've only ridden in Jacky's Evo X MR, haven't been inside an IX yet.

i suggest you go on the northwest forums - there are a few evo's there posted for sale that you should consider. although i dont recall seeing an mr.

Hey everyone! I'm moving to Van in the fall (hopefully). What's the evo scene like over there?? I haven't gotten one yet... but I hope to soon this summer.

 

Thanks! So the inspection went very well. The owner just paid the lien off on the car so it'll take up to 3 weeks to get approved. Once that is done I'll have the title and go down to pick it up. Very excited for it!
Awesome! The evo scene from what I gather is pretty small. Evo VIII and Evo IX's are very rare in Vancouver, honestly I see muricelagos and LP560s more than evos. Evo X is a different story though.
