Exclamation Ottawa insurance

I'm looking for a new insurance broker or company. The one I am with right now wants to bring my insurance up to 6000$ That's a 2000$ raise

Could you guys let me know what insurance company or broker your are using, and their phone number?

That's a lot for insurance. How old are you and how many claims have you made over the years?

I'm 24 with no claim ever and I got my insurance at La Capitale for 1200$ both sides.

May be Ontario is higher than Quebec but 6000$ is very high.

By the way my insurance is on a brand new Ralliart.

I'm under Meloche Monnex, which is a division under TD Canada Trust, and on my own I'm at $2124.96/yr (which is $177.08/mth for those who hate math) on my 03' Lancer OZ. Then again, I'm 25 with no bad history, so your results may vary.

www.melochemonnex.com or 1-800-268-8955 (which is Ontario's Toll free number)

I'm 20, going on 21 pretty soon, with 1 speeding ticket and 1 accident But 6000$ is still a lot for tose two alone. I was paying less than 4000 last year. I had no infraction nor accident added to my record in the last year, so I'm trying to figure out why they're trying to raise it that much

I switched to Belair Direct this past summer because I was getting hosed by Dominion and my broker wasn't much help.

I'm in a way different insurance class than you (I'm old enough to BE your dad) and have a great record, but what I'm trying to say is that in the two months when I was shopping for a new car, I got comparative insurance quotes on all kinds of cars (Mini Coper, Acura RSX, Honda Accord Coupe, Jetta 1.8 T, etc.). I found that Belair rates the Ralliart as a compact car, not a performance car, so what I'm paying is pretty reasonable for a car that competes with the SVT Focus, MazdaSpeed Protege, and other factory sport-compacts.
