well i know the guy and know that all the parts were installed by absolute and done right. however, i also know that the bored throttle body, je pistons, lightened flywheel and bored intake manifold are not in the car. i'm not sure about the sway bars, they may or maynot be there, i honestly don't remember. the rest of the stuff is though and was well taken car of. it was never abused or beat on and he even did the 1,000 km engine and tranny work in period which the dealer never mentions but should be done on any car. he aslo got the rust proofing done on the car which has like a 10 or 15 year warranty or something like that, as you said he got the sunroof option and the cd changer option. the 6 pack should be in the cubby just below your heater controls. as for the price you paid, you got a good deal, he paid the dealer over $26 for that car and then you got all the mods on top of that. the mods come out to about $5,000, so you got a $31,000 + car for $23,000. i think that's a pretty good deal.

btw, welcome to the community. check out the CLC thread and join up, we will be having meets/events/shows that you can come out to

Thanks crash at least you make me feel bit better. I will have to check about the other stuff. But I don't know how to get at the internal stuff or the clutch.

to get at the internals you would need to take apart the engine, that's why he lied about those things. the throttle body you can check, pull off the intake, get a micrometre (sp) and measure the inside.

they are thicker than the standard. you can go to roadracemotorsports.com and look at the picture they have of the piston.

the stock one is posted somewhere on this board you will see the difference.

Check this out . You say you bought the car last saturday which would be Feb 14 (Valentines day) yet you posted that you know Helena who works there. Well last time she worked there was September. Next you said you went to cooksville for an oil change and they say you warranty is void, because you have CAI.
What does CAI have to do with oil change???. Who in their right mind would put all those mods to their car which is fairly new and sell it right away to you for $23,000.00 . Get you facts right. You are an immature kid who wants to get noticed. Grow up man. What do you think of people her in the forum??? As dumb as you . Please do yourself a favor and get a life. Life does not revolve around you nor will it favor you if you think that way. Save all you energy and read books maybe you can learn something.

Mods do not make the value of a car go up. The car continues to depreciate at its normal value, and the cost of the mods is not, in general, factored into the price of the car.
