Need a place in Toronto to plug a tire
I went to AG&R today, and they said corporate wouldn't let them plug a tire. They couldn't patch it because the nail was too close to the sidewall and they were afraid that patch wouldn't seal.
I just need a plug or plug and patch to last me for a week before I can replace the entire tire for a brand new one.
Does anyone know of a smaller shop that will plug or plug and patch a tire that has a nail in the tread but close to the sidewall?

Some tires should never be repaired, It's a judgement call of an experienced tire tech.
If you were to patch it and drive down the freeway and have a blowout or worse what would be the result?? a collision? a destroyed tire and rim, or worse? It's not worth the chance.Even if you have to put a new tire on your credit card or borrow the money you should just replace the tire and be done with it. My 2 cents.
Best of Luck Bro
