Problems wrong with my car on Delivery

Just wanted to post all the things that were wrong with my car on delivery and how the dealer dealt with them. See if anyone else experienced these problems:

Tires over PSI spec. - No response

Scratch on rear lip and bumper. - Lip replaced, bumper stayed. Dealer said they'd replace both

Scratch on rear rims. - No response.

No 6 CD Changer. - Installed 1 week later. Supposed to be there on delivery.

Scratch on console. - No response. From shoddy 6 cd changer install.

3/4 Tank of Gas. - No response. I thought it was common courtesy to have a full tank when buying a car.

Low Oil. - No response.

Stain on headliner. - No response.

Obviously no PDI done on the car.

You definitely ought to post the name of the dealer, so people can decide whether they want to avoid it...

I complained to Pierre Gagnon who was the CEO of Mitsu N.A. at the time. He referred me to a local rep who never called back. I complained to Randy Sears who is some top level guy in Canada. No response from his office. And the ***-****s at the dealership didn't seem to care. They did however call me a little while ago to tell me "they haven't seen my Lancer since last June and I am over-due for an oil change". I read to them exactly what I wrote in my letter to them and they said "we'll have someone call you back....." That was in March.

Hey bud, thats really bad how they treated you at the Mits dealership. I thought you owned a cavalier and a GT-R .

Just curious. You must be loaded man to have all three cars. I wonder how much insurance you are paying with all those cars.

well back on topic...

my lancer came dirty, and with scratches behind the passenger door
i noticed it right away and told the dealer but thought that it was most likely dirt so i just washed it
it was still there and the dealer said they would fix it
i took it there and they did a crappy job with the paint as instead of painting the whole panel (as they should with a brand new car) they painted the scratched area and left blend marks where the old clearcoat met the new one
i went to the dealer and complained and they were being real hardasses about it and then my brother talked to them and we went to look at it and they were all burnt toast and were all trying to be nice
i ended up having to go back and forth like 4 times
BAH!!!

I just think you joined the wrong forum. This forum is about Mitsubishi enthusiasts. (see the logo on top?). People talk about how they can better their rides, exchange ideas, get connected to good products and all are done in friendly manner. But all you've done so far is complain. You are also talking to a group that has had nothing but praises for that dealership.

Your best bet is to file your complaint to the Better Business Bureau as you said. Not here. We can't do anything about it.

Hmmmm.... it seems like all you do is a LOT of complaining Bling, maybe that's your problem. If you spoke to these people like a decent and civilized individual maybe they would treat you like a decent and civilized individual.

However, unfortunately, it appears that you are not, maybe you should go back after you get house trained and they'll take you seriously!

Nahhh, you will never be taken seriously with that negative attitude... maybe you should smarten up a little, BIATCHHHH!!!

I'm going to complain until the problem is fixed. Had the problem been fixed at the start I wouldn't have had to complain all the way up the ladder to the top.

So in summary yes I have done a lot of complaining. Complaining that wouldn't be necessary if the proper checks on my car were done. PDI exists for a reason. So stuff like this doesn't happen. Thank god for lemon laws in Canada and the Better Business Bureau!

one word: CRAPTAVALIER

it means: craptacular cavalier

and if you own one of those, you can quit complaining about your mitsu, unless you really want me to get into the hundereds of "lemon" stories involving those american made pieces of dung

Actually if you talked to the dealership and told them the problem they may have helped you fix the problem or at least resolve your complaint. But if you start bad mouthing them or giving them attitude do you really think they will be happy to help you. Stop burning bridges here man, were all here in this board to meet new friends and enthusiast alike and not bash each other. If you really want things to go your way do it the civilized way. Peace

As you can see those complaints are still under investigation in a three year period. Nothing has been proven bad against Cooksville Mits. On the other hand a lot of guys here really don't like the attitude you are showing in this board. I really hope that changes and you relax and deal with the situation in a proffesional manner. That way you will get the respect you want from all of us here. We are here to make friends and share ideas about our cars, and not be making enemies and become negative. Peace man, and have a nice day.
