Engine Overspeed

Need a little help figuring this Code out couldn't find anything online.
Was driving through my gears pretty fast after i recalibrated my LC-1 again. Cobb Said Engine threw this Code PO219 My AP said it was engine overspeed?? Is this because i hit my rev limiter twice?? I tried resetting it twice and its still there... Even shut car off for a min and turned it back on and reset ecu codes again..

Anything to be concerned with?? Jw
Thanks

try this.....

turn the car to the ON position... ( DONT start the car... )
read the code iwth the cobb... and then reset it.... turn the car off... and wait 10 seconds or so... and then actually start the engine... see if that clears it..

Cobb AP's need to have the car off and the ecu reset inorder to actually clear the code.

I remember reading something about certain DTCs not being able to be cleared. Engine over speed being one of them. Have you raised your rev limit?

I tried every combo to reset it. didn't work... Nope haven't touched rev limiter either..
Couldn't find anything online either.. weird.. I just figured since i hit the rev limiter it may have done it. not like i haven't hit it before not on purpose or anything..

Only map im running right now is a Cobb Stage 2 93 LWG.

try unhooking your ECU and battery for about 15 minutes.. maybe more...

and power cycle your car.... start it run it for a little bit... turn it off... like 5 or six times....

after the ecu sees that things are alright it should clear right?

Does the stage 2 map increase the rev limit over stock?

Sadly I tried this aswell. When i calibrated the LC-1 I Unplugged the batt for about 20 min's while i was under the car un hooking my wideband sensor to do a fresh air calibrate. then plugged it all back in and calibrated my LC-1. Then Reset my Ecu Codes again.. Nothing.. its not like i can call Mitsu Hopfully it isnt bad...

And i didnt think the Stage 2 messed with the Rev limiter?? I could be wrong. Idk

It means that the engine RPM has exceeded a certain amount (not sure exactly how much it is). If your stage 2 tune has increased your rev limit, then it's likely you did it when you hit the redline. Otherwise did you downshift at too higher speed forcing rpm to exceed its limit?
