Where do people get variations of different maps?

Hello again,

Sorry for another noob question but where are people getting LWG, HKS, Perrin etc maps?

I hear people talk about getting a LWG map but cannot for the life of me figure out where you get these? Do you set up these maps yourself with a tuning program or is there a site where these are available as OTS maps?

Only maps I can find on the Cobb site are the default ones...

Thanks!

Still only see the standard v201 maps. I don't see any that are marked as LWG...am I missing something?

Iirc, the purpose of the lwg maps was to fix overboost issues some were having... But all the 202 beta maps are on that forum page... None the less, the intake maps etc. are there... What are you looking for specifically?

I am actually looking for a LWG version of the Stage 1 V201 map. Don't even know if one exists but just wanted to try it out since my car is boosting to 26+ PSI with 0 mods. The car does overboost on the stock map to so I may just leave it alone...

Hi,

Did you purchase your vehicle new or used? If used, I'd recommend going through the car to see what has been modified; restrictor pills, test pipes, etc...

Hi Steve,

Yeah the car was purchased used with 20k on the clock. I checked everything I could and seems to be all stock. I will take a look at the solenoid pill to see if it has been removed. Is it particularly bad that it spikes to 26 psi? I get mixed feedback reading old threads on this subject.

Thanks!

It is the map that's over boosting because My 2012 stock GSR also boost up to 26 PSI in 3rd gear.

Interesting...thanks for the input GTO!

Got a response back from Braden over at the Cobb forums on this.

It looks like the LWG maps are going to be release on the next update.

If by winter still no LWG maps just switch to the 91 MAP it will lower boost by 1.5 to 2 psi.
