Stage 3 evox gsr 2008 ????
So...have been 5 years buying all my parts from COBB.
saving my extra cents to buy them.
stay loyal to the family. enjoy their awesome fabrications and tunes.
I have been running the beta stage 2 SF+BCS octane 93 for a year and NO FINAL STAGE 3 release for 2008s??????
I don't get it.
COME ON COBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
are you closing the doors for 2008's now that I just finish paying my long five years of monthly payments?

They're working on updating the 2008-2010 OTS maps to match those of the 2011-2014. I'm sure you'll see the complete Stage 3 available sometime soon. You could always try calling them and asking for an alpha version too.
Why not email them and ask for the beta tune. I planned on getting a custom tune but figured I would hold off on that and have been assisting them with the tune on the 2010's. Already went through the v402 Stage 2 tune and it was great. Leaps and bounds better than the v108 tunes. Next up is to install my Stage 3 parts and try that out. You also get the extra assurance that your car is running properly on the tune when they review. They are a top notch company and many people dont give credit where it is due.
These are base tunes to "get you by", these aren't full custom tunes tailored to your car. Essentially they have to make your car not blow up.
Please guys, stop referring to these as "stages"...sound like a subaru forum.

Cobb's OTS maps are specifically built around certain "stages" so deal with it you Yankee bastard
Last night I was out ripping around in a 2014 GSR with a Cobb Stage 3 91v401 OTS map that I customized for him...goes in for a dyno tune today.

I don't feel quite well that they are working by the number of clients, letting the 2008's back in the dust.
I wont buy the AP 3 until they release the stage 3
No really....engine stuff is all from Cobb. and that's exactly my point. To honor those that keep their cents in their company for long time, 2008's maps should be released if not first, at less at the same time of the rest of the years.

Honestly, don't waste time waiting for a "stage 3"...whatever that is, just go to a pro tuner or contact Bakaunchi on here and have him give you an etune.
I bet he gets your stage 3 evo running smooth as silk, making more power and safer and could probably do it over a weekend or something via remote tuning.
edit: also, remember, people that have as many mods as a "stage 3" requires probably get pro tuned. It's a very small market for people that want OTS maps for something with those mods so they have to work on the maps for the great populous.
They aren't trying to be jerks, they just have limited resources and need to do work for the greater good essentially.

I understand what you are saying, you have probably spent thousands on Cobb products, but you already have functioning items is how they see it. They are trying to maximize profits and get the new stuff ready for the new model years as the new models have no maps at all. Sadly older years like us will not get the first of the support.
