new to AP on the Evo

Been using the AP on my recently totalled mazdaspeed6 for years and was wondering if the layout was the same. Do you guys do MAF calibrations after installing aftermarket intakes? Following up with WOT runs to dial in AFR's? Just wondering how the two platforms compare. Kinda glad the evo doesn't have direct injection. That **** is a pita and one of the major hurdles on making big power on the turbo mzr platform. Give me in tank drop in fuel pumps any day over rebuilding Cam driven fuel pumps. Bleh

We have MAF calibrations for certain intakes here https://cobbtuning.zendesk.com/hc/en...on-Spreadsheet. The Evo is not equipped with a factory wideband like the MS3 so dialing in fuel would have to be done on a dyno or by inputting a aftermarket wideband signal into the ECU or ATR. Generally with the OTS maps on EVO the first things to dial in are target boost and the amount of knocksum during a 3/4 gear pull. The AP and ATR are going to be familiar to you since you are familair to both our products but some of the nomenclature between the brands will be different as well as some of the custom OS features. The Evo platform does not have FFS but has launch control from the factory, but the Evo does support on the fly map switching.
