I recently purchased a Evo 9 after wanting one for so long! I was told the car was rebuilt bottom up and it runs good and on 27psi. My only issue now is that after fixing the oil leaking into the turbo situation I now have oil shooting out my catch can. I’m aware of the possibility of the rings being gapped loose but would prefer not to pull the engine yet. Thank you all for your time and comments! I have added a pic to the post of my setup currently.
I have two AN lines running to a STM catch can, one from the valve cover and the other from the crank case. I then have a line run from the PCV to another catch can.
The oil is coming out of the STM can with the filter in top. I believe it’s from the driver side valve cover. I’m currently looking for a solution before I pull the trigger on another catch can.
any pics of the catch can. bigger hoses help separate air from oil. you can also make the catch can "taller" by mounting it lower, then extending the breather upwards. I mount mine on the side of the radiator. my setup has 2 stages of oil return cans and vent to air tho
I don't remember if STM baffles their can but lack of baffles or insufficient baffles in the can will allow oil to pass through the can instead of getting caught by it.

no i have enlarged the 2 ports on the valve cover. I need the PCV system working so during idle/cruise clean air should go into the exhaust side port, to the crankcase, out to the intake side port in order to make sure moisture/fuel vapors are sucked out just like the original design
