PCS段ng to Germany

Greetings,

just wondering how hard it would be to have my Vehicle pass the TUV and Registered in Germany. My Evo 9 has some mods and I been told I will likely not pass. Any help and guidance would be very much appreciated! Mods list listed below!

your car should be exempt from any real TUV and basically get the light version of it

If under US SOFA status...base will inspect for free. Excess exhaust noise, too low, and worn tires (1.6 mm across the width) are the common failures.

Modifications can be an issue away from the US areas...as cars can be confiscated. Germans must have all modifications listed on their TUV...road side check points are not uncommon...

We've been fortunate to only have an issue with a too loud exhaust, but a 'db killer' solved that (temporary).

Evo's are a hoot in the land of the autobahn...

Tim above hit it right on the head.

I left Hawaii and went to Vilseck 10 years ago now, and the bigger items that give you trouble are the DB level of the exhaust, height of the car and if I remember correctly tint on the front half of the car is not allowed.

Depending on where you are PCS'ing too, enjoy the time and time off you get. It's a great spot and easy travel all over.
