I would not race someone(at a track or closed course) for 1000 unless I knew exactly what they had for mods and I felt I could beat them. I would race for fun and a trip to a local pub after the race not knowing what they had under the hood or internally in the motor.See if he will tell you what he runs the 1/4 in, then decide.
Heavily modded Hemi Magnums could beat you with your current mods.

Wtf the srt8's arnt even out yet that car is a pig. I have driven a hemi one before. Its got about as much kick as grandprix gtp. If his car is stock or even has a bottle you should still smoke him. You prolly run low 13's and those cars run 14.6 stock.... Even if he shaved 1second off his time with some sort of mods you would still beat him... Race him if you lose just take off. haha
ps i cant wait to race my buddy 100% stock 03 gto fer 1500 this summer haha... " i dont care what you have done to that 4 banger, i have a corvette engine" haha thats what he thinks... The guy with the hemi maybe dosnt know what an evo is.. Most people i know laugh when i say i would kill a hemi ram.. People just dont know...

my gf's dodge rumble bee pickup (345 hp) runs a low 14
with a couple of mods she can have that down to evo level. be careful what you wish for. some of those dodges can roll

What dodge truck besides the SRT-10 runs faster than high 14s stock? Is your girlfriends truck modified, I know it ran that time on slicks. The streets is a much different story, a couple of mods on your gf's car will not put it on EVO level on the streets or even at the drag strip, besides being on the EVO level is much more than going in a straight line.
lol

As for the Evo running stock in the low 13's, I think it's hedging a bit.

Sorry for the rant guys and gals, but it's arrogant people like him that really **** me off. I do not condone street racing at all when there are too many LEGAL 1/4 mile tracks in almost every state. Most of the guys doing the illegal street racing are too impatient to wait until friday or saturday night when the track opens.
