Which weather service are you using? According to weather.com, it looks just fine. It will stay in the 80s and be cloudy, so we won't all be roasting, and the chance of rain is only 20-30%, so even if there is some rain, it will be sporadic; nothing sustained.

Not sure what tracks you've raced on, but most won't continue if the track is wet REGARDLESS if its raining or not:

weather.com has this to say:

Friday Aug 19
7pm showers 30% chance of rain
8pm showers 30% chance of rain
9pm showers 30% chance of rain
10pm cloudy 20% chance of rain
11pm cloudy 20% chance of rain

Saturday
12am cloudy 20% chance of rain
1am cloudy 20% chance of rain
2am cloudy 20% chance of rain
3am cloudy 30% chance of rain
4am t-storms 30% chance of rain
5am t-storms 30% chance of rain
6am t-storms 30% chance of rain
7am cloudy 30% chance of rain
8am cloudy 20% chance of rain
9am cloudy 20% chance of rain
10am cloudy 20% chance of rain
11am cloudy 20% chance of rain
12pm cloudy 20% chance of rain
1pm cloudy 20% chance of rain
2pm cloudy 20% chance of rain
3pm cloudy 30% chance of rain
4pm t-storms 30% chance of rain
5pm t-storms 30% chance of rain
6pm t-storms 30% chance of rain

All it takes is one light shower anywhere in the next 24hrs, and the event will be majorly effected. So... yea, in my book its doesn't look good.

Just for the record, the Eastcoast WRX shootout is next weekend, I won't be going to that for the same reasons... if these reasons occur (weather/trailor). EVO's have nothing to do with it.

Only MIR, Capitol Raceway, Rockingham Raceway, Mason Dixon Dragway, 75/80 Dragway, Jacksonville Speedway, Kinston Dragway, etc...none of which stopped due to light showers. They all just wait it out, then dry it off. Perhaps E-town is different and just turns away thousands of people due to light showers 12 hours before the event (or even during)? I'd like to think not...

Buschur had 2 heavy showers and continued the race, so I think we may be able to "weather" some light, sporadic rain.
