Iam not trying to be a di$k here but weight makes a big diference, Al (Dynoflash) could perfectly weight more than twice of an avergae Asian, again not a offense but a tru fact.
Lets move on with my logical 100% making sense explanation. This guys EVO RS weights a ridiculous 3004 pounds when the average USDM EVO weights at least 3250LBS.
The EVO rs JDM is factory tuneed for 93 Oct gas and it has a much agressive ECU mapping versus the more conservative water **** gas used in the USA and oriented for "low emission" "low contaminant ozone friendly car".
If your RS evo is a 05 then there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that your car(EVO RS 05) will always walk agaisnt a USDM 03 EVO when the conditions mentioned above are met.
So summarizing:
Average american driver being a good 100 pound heavier than the Central american native
JDM EVO RS being another 200Pounds lighter than the USDM GSR evo8
the RS japonese ECU mapping being a lot more agressive than the USDM ECU
the 05 RS pushing significantly more power than the 03
My last statement is based on own experience, my MR when it was stock was dead even with a red 03 B&B 3"TBE cat less and K&N air filter from 30 to 110 from a roll in multiple passes, plus my car was full in gas and the 03 EVO was in reserve
Last but not least, no ofense about no one race or ethnity but just some true facts.. Sorry Al

think I can respond to this topic from a logical point of view . First of all, are you a Hondurian person? how much do you weight? No offense but normally people from central america are rare to be taller than a 5.2-5.4" consequently weighting a mere 125LBS versus the Typical american which averages 200pounds plus and is around 5.9" and above.

hey friend what i can tell you is the fact that a lot of people in my country are short and skinny but me i weight 185lbs and meacure 5"10 so if you that is stock raced with a modded evo 03, i guess that 2005 are faster period!

Yeah, you just said it. Take away one of my multiple reasons(you are not the average 125LBS 5'3" native) so the answer still is:
Your car is superlight
Your mapping is more agressive
and yes indeed the 05 is far superior to the 03
Also it seems like your gear ratio is also favorable for acceleration from a roll

It is a known fact the '05's have more power..jdm or not. For one they have a 10.5 hotside and slightly more aggresive tune.
If your Evo weighs 3000 lbs than you are also about 200lbs lighter than the usdm '03.
Not hard to figure out
