good times, but your reaction time has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile times.

thing i dont understand is i think i would be running faster with my cams in there. i dont know how i could drive much better. temps were in the mid 80's but it was very humid and i was sweating like a pig. i'm thinking about goin with an intake to let the car breathe some more instead of just using the k&n drop in. seems like the car is running pretty rich too and a custom tune by Al would help me out i'm sure.

Your sixty foots need a little work. With cams, you should easily get low 1.7s or mid to high 1.6s.

Uhhh, maybe I misunderstood your post. What would cams have to do with a 60'?? He should already be able to bang off 1.7's - 1.6's etc... with stock or aftermarket cams.

and yes 1.6's - 1.7's are possible on the stock clutch.

I meant that with the cams, I would think they would help you come out of the hole a little faster. You just need some practice launching the car. I wasn't criticizing or anything like that.
