Our cars use the turbo to make the power, not the motor itself, in fact, most times builders will lower the compression of the motor enabling it to run more boost safely (Thus, DE-tune the 'stock' motor). Anyways, good job. These motors in thier stock form have been proving to be very good... I am yet to hear about someone honestly breaking thier motor due to power itself. Mostly over-rev's and oil pump failures. I remember when everyone said the motor needed to be built at around 400hp to the ground. Now it is up past the 500 mark and yet no one has really destroyed one from power itself yet. I really wonder how much you can throw at the stupid thing before it gives up.
agreed.

Your running on a recipe setup. Nothing to be suprised about.

Just saw this, I went 10.83 at 127mph with a lot of compressor surge in 4th gear. This was on Sumitomo all season tires with a 1.583 60' and I beleive it was around 80 degrees out last year. This was at 30psi and 110 oct.

Very nice run on the oem ECU! Congrats!

A slip or video of what? I have tons of tons of video and tons and tons of timeslips of my car yes. My favorite is a 14 @ 114. Why do you ask? dont really understand your point in the whole debate... If you would like to race on a track Im all for it. I race regardless if someone is trying to beat me or not. I dont do this professionally and I dont do it to show off. I have fun My car will should have the new tranny (Again) and a new clutch next week hopefully and I will bring it out and finally run it the way it was built for. Ill even remember to bring a video camera and film it for ya

And you should be proud, I get confused on who I am talking to nor do I care to look back and see but if your the guy that ran the 10.9x with a GT35r than good for you. You should be proud Knock another second of the time and I might care a little more.

Why is everyone hating on trinababe. He(sorry, she) is only stating the facts.

Milltown Inc. is running a BR Stage 5, GT35r, a Stage 5 clutch and a built tranny.

That setup runs 10's all day. It's a recipe setup. No suprise.

If he ran a 10.9 with buschur's 20g i'de be interested.

Agreed, this car runs what it SHOULD run. Setup well. Congrats. It's no freak of nature though.
