And I am a bone stock 05 hitting 13.59@101. (Also with a 2.0 60ft time) I have vids to prove it.
Granted I have a SSL evo weighing a bit more but still a 106 trap is just way too high for me to believe without seeing proof.

Well I am actually late to class as is. My class started at 11am and its now 11:03 so Im a few minites late. So I'll have to scan the slips later...
Anywho, this actually did happen. It was @ GLD last thursday, same day that that white SC300 did a 9.5 and broke some record. I feel no need to lie on a public forum, slips come later tonight.

I also ran at GLD.
Here is my run. http://users.dls.net/~jjacoby/EVO/Run4.wmv
thats atleast 3mph faster than ANY stock evo EVER.
i ran a 12.6@106mph...so, if you are hitting that mph you have quite a lot of room to work with on your ET.

I understand you guys aren't calling B.S. yet, but regardless I'll be posting the slip up tonight.
I'm hoping to hit the track this saturday again to see what I can muster out. I was actually planning on going tuned on ECU+, but my stupid expansys cable that I bought new never worked from the get go. So looks like I'll be trying stock one more time.....
On another note for those with '05s how do you disconnect the 5k limiter? I followed the clutch pedal to the switch that regulates this and disconnected the plug for it on my friends evo. I thought it was going to work at disabling the 5k rev limit because the car would start without the clutch in but when he actually got to the track, the limiter was still in tact (he told me)....
I thought that this was the proper way to do it?
Thanks guys

I'm also completely baffled as to how/why you did that launch technique with the e-brake. I can't imagine why in the world someone would do something like that on their very first time running an Evo at the track. It certainly doesn't sound like that was your first time...I can't imagine anyone attempting something that complicated their first time. Then, to think you actually launched hard with only a 2.0 doesn't make sense either. You had to have bogged heavily to get that 2.0 unless this is all a big sham.
Anyway, the notion of great 60' times getting lower traps is true but not in your situation. What people normally see is that if they go from a good 60' (say 1.70) to an even BETTER 60' (say 1.65), they will get a better ET and POSSIBLY a slightly lower mph. This is caused by getting to the same distance in less time, and thus less mph. When comparing a 2.0 to a 1.7, this is not the case. When doing a 2.0, it means something went awfully wrong on the launch (complete spin with 0 traction through 1st and part of 2nd, a terrible bog, or no launch at all). These factors negatively affect both ET _and_ MPH. You would not have gotten better mph from a horrid launch like that...it would be much lower than normal (normal being 103-104).
Another example is that I ran 12.83 @ 106.3 with a tuned S-AFC on a good launch (1.76). What you're telling us is your car is as fast stock than mine was tuned. I also ran 12.64 @ 106.00 once and 12.64 @ 107.2 with s-afc/mbc/cat-back. At this time, I dyno'd 282whp on a Dynojet. This would mean your stock 05 dynos at least 270, which is hard to believe, but not altogether impossible.
I guess the question no one has thought to ask is...were you on 93oct?

I attached the picture of the slip, it doesnt scan very well so you have to look pretty hard to see.
