If you dont believe me I don't give a damn anymore. It took enough B.S. for me to get my name back after doing NOTHING WRONG. So I care very little about what certain people think. Too much drama

I believe that the reason you were banned after that thread was flaming David Buschur for the excessive surge of his 20G turbo and demanding a $150 refund on a Buschur 20G turbo because of the recent price reduction on the unit. The moderator deleted the offensive post that got you banned, but I remember it and Dave Buschur referenced it HERE. I'm guessing that now you are going to tell us that the 20G turbo is on your brother's car or a friend's car?

Obviously, ***. Now you're going to try and tell me that it's not possible for that to have happened that I must be some sort of internet scam artist whom is trying to gain respect on the internet by posting a slip with a decent launch and a high trap speed.

My brother and a friend both have 20g equipped cars. My car is stock, I am not my brother.

END OF STORY, if you care not to believe me, I could give a damn at this point

Geez. Why is everyone attacking this guy? If he did it, fine. If he's got the ***** to post his slip on here, whether it's faded or not, it must be on there. I mean, it seems like he knows what he's doing at the track so maybe, just maybe, he can just plain drive! Too many times it seems like people on this forum attack someone else because they do something special or run some time or in this case a trap speed. And it looks like he only did it one time, so maybe it was just a fluke, I don't know. But I'm not going to call this cat a liar because he ran it and then decided to post it. Apparently, he was proud of his accomplishment so he posted on here. Fellas, fellas, it sounds like you're hatin'!

That's true because since you launch slow you have more time to build speed. Where as if you launch quickly you run out of track faster and never achieve as high a speed. Take a Mustang and an Evo. Although and Evo is quicker out of the box, the Mustang's higher power will catch up and therefore stop the traps at a higher speed.

Bad examples. I've already explained the 60' vs trap speed phenomenon earlier, and this is not the reason for it. When you only have a 2.0 60' and it's not from spinning, your trap will not be higher than if you had a 1.7...it will be much lower. Also, the reason why a Mustang has lower 60's yet traps higher is because it's 2wd, which causes it to spin initially, but then has less drivetrain loss and drag on the top end where you pick up the higher mph.

He is showing one slip (and half a slip at that) and no proof to backup the fact it was his car.

If it sounds too good to be true... wel you know the rest of the saying.

I still have the numbers on my window. I could take a picture and post it, but since everyone is being a dick anyway I hardly see a reason to convince anyone because how sour most of you have been.

+1 ... those are some very impressive times ... not all EVOs are created equal from the factory, some are fast some are slow ...

You guys are incredible, what's so hard to believe. He ran the time and has the slip. Yes he and his brother have Evo's and also had two user accounts, trust me I have been to their house and seen both of them. You guys are pretty lame to sit here and dissect every damn thing he says. For those of you , and you know who you are, get a life. He ran the time, deal w/ it.

Thanks Chris.

It shouldn't be that hard to believe. If I remember correctly, I saw a magazine that ran 13.1@105 in a stock '05 also. I guess I shouldn't share my experiences with EVO's on this website because all people can do is ***** and moan.

I remember when this website first started, there were nothing but complete morons giving terrible advice. Now some post ****** who are somehow the first to find and reply to any thread think everything has been covered and decide to cry it over by *****ing and end up posting something negative in any thread with a question. This snowballs with a bunch of morons agreeing and ends up being a worthless thread in the archives and more crap to dissect through for those of us who actually search...

Agreed, I think that if people actually took the time to do a search and learn first before posting, the quality of posts on this site would go up. Not only has quality of posts gone down, but also the people who post are getting more and more defensive and accusatory. Some people have nothing better to do than doubt others and then spout off on how their cars are doing. It's only a car guys, there is more to life than what time you ran. Some should focus their efforts on other areas of their lives that are probably lacking. Rant off, Good times Justin. I am getting the clutch/flywheel installed this week and will probably hit GLD or Byron in the following.

Let me know when you go, I kinda feel like I have unfinished business at the track.

I know the car has a 12 in it stock if I hit 1.7 60' so....

I went last night *BY MYSELF* which sucked, ended up spending like 2 hours in traffic which sucked, got there and waited 2 hours in line to run once, was against a rediculous cobra on slicks, got stage fright and bogged, hit a 13.6 w/ a 2.2 60' and then they shut off the timers and were just doing street races without slips. Worst $35 and a saturday spent EvAr!

Keep me posted....

Where are you from? How come you go to GLD? RT41 is only 1.5 hours south of the Chicago and it's $20 to run.

Your trap speed is probably higher due to good racing weather and GLD traps high because it is on a slight downhill grade. Not bad times though. Good luck with the 12's, you'll be there before ya know it.

GLD takes me an hour and fifteen to get to in good traffic, most Evo's I know of run best at GLD. I've never even heard anyone talking about rt.41 around me, where is it? I'm from kane county.

I'm thinking of going back for a 1.7 60' and a 12 second slip, but Im so busy I don't know if it'l happen.....
